Wagon Masters!

Alpine SoCal has a great history of having fun. It's because we have a fantastic group and because we have people who will step up and volunteer to plan and organize rallies so that we can continue the fun. Rally directors past and present have created all the necessary documents to successfully plan and host a rally. This pack of forms is available to guide you along the way, although it may be redundant for you experienced wagon masters. And remember that your Rally Committee is just a phone call away.

Most of our rallies are planned and hosted by a Wagon Master with assistance from an Assistant Wagon Master working as a team. Some prefer to work as Co-Wagon Masters. To encourage members to volunteer to be Wagon Masters, the club will reimburse most of the camping fee portion of the rally fees for the Wagon Master and the Assistant Wagon Master for the rally they host.

Members who are not sure if they can handle being a Wagon Master are encouraged to volunteer to be an Assistant Wagon Master with a Wagon Master with previous experience. Hopefully they will enjoy the experience without as much pressure, and develop the courage to later be a Wagon Master themselves.
